Presentation at USC – Information Sciences Institute at opening of Lockheed Martin – USC Center for Quantum Computation

Here is the presentation I gave at the opening of the Lockheed Martin – USC Center for Quantum Computation, where the first D-Wave One is installed. It is a little long but gives a good overview of our perspective on quantum computation.

The presentation is linked to from an article written by Gully Burns about his take on the opening of the Center.

  1. Silverlight is making this presentation almost unwatchable.

  2. Why? I actually liked the format… the sound wasn’t so great but that was a mic problem I think. They actually had this cool camera thing where the camera automatically tracked where I was and moved to keep me in the field of vision…

  3. Hi sorry I should have been more clear.. In chrome & IE, it wouldn’t allow pausing for download, just constant buffering and then a few seconds of play. Couldn’t save it to computer either like an earlier presentation. Will try again later with FF, on mobile now…

  4. No I cant watch either – silverlight i detest

Is it up on Youtube yet ?

  5. Ok looks like you can get it to download by pressing pause while it is playing (but not during buffering)

  6. great video btw.. fascinating stuff. you guys inspired me to learn how to program with python. :)
